The Steiner Spring Festival is one that celebrates new growth and new life. After our Winter Festival and time of inwardness, the Spring Festival is an exciting time of new beginnings and new colour emerges in nature. During Term 3, each Steiner class learns and practices a dance to perform at the festival. These are traditionally folk dances and link to the stories in the curriculum being taught, with the highlight being Class 4’s Maypole dance. This festival finishes with one more dance involving all teachers, students, and parents before we enjoy a shared picnic on the oval together.
